Every few months a slot comes along that doesn't really look like a slot. Candy Swipe Matchwin by Coreffect Interactive is that game for late 2026: a 7×7 board of candies where you make the move, then the cascades take over. The mechanic behind it is called MatchWin, and it's only available on Stake. Here's how it works in plain English.

The idea in one sentence

You swap two neighbouring candies to make a line of three or more; matched candies pop, new ones fall in, and every extra chain the cascade produces adds to your payout.

How a round plays out

1. Swipe a candy up, down, left or right. The swap only sticks if it creates a match.
2. The match explodes and pays, then new candies tumble in from the top.
3. If the refill creates new matches, they pop too — that's another chain.
4. When nothing else can match, the round ends.

Match shapes matter

• 3 in a line: clears that line.
• 4 in a line: clears the entire row or column.
• 5 or more: clears every candy of that colour on the board.
• L, T or + shapes: clear the whole rectangle the shape covers.

Bigger clears mean more space for cascades, and cascades are where the money is.

How the payouts work

There are no paylines, wilds or scatters. You're paid on chains. The first chain is free (it pays nothing), and every chain after that pays 0.5× your bet. So with no multipliers, a 5-chain round pays 2× and a 10-chain round pays 4.5×.

Multiplier candies carry values from 2× to 10×, and they add together within a round. Break a 3× and a 5× and you're on 8×. The multiplier is applied to your chain count before the free first chain is removed — e.g. a 7× multiplier on 4 chains counts as 28 chains, minus one, = 27 × 0.5× = 13.5×.

Special candies

• Rockets fly in their arrow's direction and wipe out everything in the path.
• Bombs clear a 3×3 square.
• Rockets and bombs can set each other off — that's how the screen-clearing moments happen.
• Shuffle clears the whole board and refills it.
• Magic candies fill a three-slot Magic Meter that carries over between rounds.

The Ice Bonus

Fill the Magic Meter and you trigger the Ice Bonus: 5 moves against two rows of ice blocks. Break candies next to a block to crack it; after two or three cracks it shatters and reveals a multiplier. Every magic candy you pop during the bonus gives you an extra move.

Extra Luck and bonus buys

• Extra Luck is an ante that costs 2× your bet per round and makes the Ice Bonus more likely. Treat it as a volatility switch, not a free upgrade.
• Enhanced Moves: 50× per move.
• Ice Bonus buy: 100× your bet.
• Multi Mayhem: 1,000× per move — strictly for big bankrolls.

• Cluster pays: groups land on their own; you don't move anything.
• Cascading reels: winning symbols disappear and new ones drop in after a normal spin.
• MatchWin: you make the first move, then cascades take over.

Does skill matter?

It feels like it, but no. Your swipe decides which match happens first, but outcomes are random and no move changes the game's odds.
